PCG has just been accredited to provide diagnostic service solutions through HealthTrust Europe LLP, acting as agent for the University Hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust (“UHCW”). Suppliers appointed to this framework agreement are recognised market leaders, focused on specific modalities and niche capabilities. This latest framework accreditation further endorses PCG’s cardiac service expertise, robust clinical quality and operational excellence, and ability to support current NHS technical and operational requirements.

SBRI – the Small Business Research Initiative. Bringing new technologies to the NHS

Stage 3 SBRI funding is being sought to detect underlying cardiovascular disease in high-risk asymptomatic individuals undergoing low dose CT as part of TLHC screening. PCG's cloud based diagnostic platform will enable data transfer from any community screening site and access to AI facilitated coronary calcium screening tools which are not routinely available on standard radiology reporting systems.

NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme

Pulse Cardiology Group is part of the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (NHS CEP). An entrepreneurial work force development programme aimed at NHS staff and healthcare professionals. The programme is part of the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) which brings together industry, government, regulators, patients and the NHS to remove barriers and accelerate the introduction of new ground-breaking treatments and diagnostics which have the potential to transform care.

University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSussex)

PCG are collaborating with CVD researchers at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSx). University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (UHSussex) was formed on 1 April 2021. The Trust was created by a merger of Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust, running hospitals in Brighton and Haywards Heath, and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, running hospitals in Shoreham-by-Sea, Worthing and Chichester.

Our models are built using a scientific process and can be applied to real-world settings to identify impact on the system.

There are 15 Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) across England, established by NHS England to spread innovation at pace and scale – improving health and generating economic growth. PCG supports wider dissemination into practice by fostering closer links with AHSN and utilising their expertise in spread and adoption of innovation. This enables PCG to work and spread through other AHSNs nationally.
