Pulse Cardiology Group successfully awarded supplier status on NHS diagnostic solutions nationwide framework

As a result of this award, PCG has secured supplier status, offering nationwide NHS Trusts an NHS England-endorsed route to contract with PCG cardiologists to provide high quality diagnostics across the healthcare system.

Teleradiology businesses responded to the formal competitive public tender and provided solutions to support with teleradiology reporting services. Through an OJEU procurement exercise, fifteen organisations were then shortlisted based on various clinical and commercial criteria.

The NHS set to gain from improved access to teleradiology
The framework agreement is designed to simplify the NHS procurement process for teleradiology services. The framework enables Trusts across the UK to contract directly with approved suppliers, removing the need to individually tender or run further competition, freeing up significant management time within radiology departments. Trusts also benefit from fixed pricing set at a framework level for the duration of the contract term.
